These are very cute but the sizing is off. Normally Dansko size 41 fits perfectly but these felt larger than usual and the arch was in the wrong place. The 40 was too short/tight and arch still in the wrong place, so I ended up returning them. The fact that I could get my EEE wide foot in them with any level of comfort is a small miracle so I do think they run wider than usual Dansko shoes. I also have a super high instep so I was surprised to have to tighten the straps to the last notch to settle my feet in place, especially given that platform shoes don’t flex so you need a tighter hold at the ankle. If the strap stretches over time, I would have had to add another punch hole to tighten effectively. If Dansko could tweak a few things about these for future releases, I think they would be perfect.
