The first thing when i opened the box was that I hated the color. It felt so ugly to me. Not the warm tan/brown i was expecting….it looked more like baby poop. Really unappealing. Then the sizing was way too big. I ordered my normal size. Otherwise they were great.

I am giving up on Dansko for my feet. They just run too wide. I have a low-volume, medium-width foot. My foot just flopped around in these, and the heel is so wide, my heel just kept slipping. A smaller size would be too short. Additionally, the insole does not come out of these, so what is the point? Back they went.

The fit is the same as the Dansko Barbara which I have three of. True to size and works for my wide foot. Therefore plenty of toe room. I do suggest a shoe horn to put these on as your foot will slide in much better. No break in needed for these boots. Very comfy!

Have the Becka and LOVE them so I thought I’d give these a whirl. In spite of the zip feature, this style was much harder to get on the foot. The front of the boot was a bit stiff and from the feeling I got trying them on, would likely irritate my lower shins. For looks they’re great; for walking and stairs, not so much. If you’re strutting around the boardroom, they’d be fine out of the box; if your day entails more time and distance on foot, expect a break in period.
