Don’t size like the Dankso clogs –
Am returning my shoes because they are sooooo big.
Since they are more of a pump style shoe, they need to fit a little snugger than the clog style.
I really like the shoe, it is just too big.

As a restaurant owner, I am on my feet for the better part of the day. This shoe really fits the bill. The only thing that I was disappointed in is that it did not come in black. If it did, I definitely would have 2 pair. Would I recommend this shoe ? Definitely.

Great shoe!
I really, really love my danskos, and I like the style of the bridget, it’s much more dressy than their other clog-styles. I can stand/walk in them all day, and my back and feet don’t get sore at all. The only thing I would advise is breaking them in before you really need to wear them for a long period, as I got a few blisters the first time I wore them for 10 hours. Now, though, they are perfect. Note that in danskos, your heel is supposed to move up and down as you walk, the shoe isn’t too big. That’s just part of the design.

I was sooo excited to see a Dansko dress shoe! I have a very wide foot and am used to going through a break in period. These shoes run smaller and more narrow than all my other Dansko’s. Other than having to have them professionally stretched for 2 weeks…I am very happy with them! Please note, these are NOT as comfortable as regular Dansko’s.

As a coordinator for a large urban high scchool in Southern California, I’m on my feet a lot,and I have a lot of foot pain. Dansko is one of the few brands of shoes that I can wear comfortably ALL day–it is so easy with Zappos.com. I don’t have a lot of time to shop, so it makes it easy for me to log on and browse the great comfortable, stylish shoes offered. Keep up the great work, Zappos!

I was excited to see a beautiful “comfort shoe.” I did have to return the 1st pair as the sizing is different than Dansko clogs — had to go down a size. The second pair came quickly and are both attractive AND comfortible!

These shoes are very comfortable, especially considering the heel and are dressy enough to wear with some (but not all) work suits. I was warned ahead of time to order up a size because they run small.

I ordered Dansko’s Bridget to go with my Master Chorale concert wear — I wanted a shoe that would be stylish and comfortable while standing in place a couple of hours at a time. This shoe is exactly what I wanted. But best of all was the customer service I received from Zappo’s. I originally ordered this shoe from danspracticals.com, but I was informed after two weeks that the shoe was on backorder. Since I needed it for a concert date that was now just a week away, I cancelled the order and called Zappo’s even . Zappos listened to my problem and got the shoe to me in 2 days at no additional charge. Zappos is the best.

Best shoe for work –
I need to dress for work but also spend a lot of time walking and standing. This shoe looks professional and stylish but is ingredibly comfortable. They say to buy a 1/2 size up but I think I could have gone with my regular size 5 1/2 but the smallest size is a 6. It is not a “chunky” as some other Dansko styles.

Size problem –
Love the styling on this shoe. One Problem. Dansko shoes run 1/2 size small. I wear a 12 in US, so I would need a 12 1/2 and they do not come larger, so I cannot buy them. I was able to try a pair on but couldn’t buy them because of the size problem. The styling is great-wear as casual or dress. If they came 1/2 size larger- I would but 3 pair!

Great shoe, great look, great service…I normally take a 37 in Dansko but I had to send back and get a 38. Thankfully Zappos return process was easy and no shipping charge on return!

A very comfortable shoe with streamlined wedge sole that matches the same all-day comfort of Dansko clogs. Cute with jeans or opaque stockings and casual skirts as well as dressed up a bit with office wear. Most importantly, no foot pain at the end of the day!

I had to send these back. They were the most uncomfortable pair of Danskos I’ve ever put on my foot, which truly surprised because I’ve never (until now) met a Dansko I didn’t like. Not only that, but they didn’t look very stylish once I got them on.

My new favorite shoe!
I looked at every store in Chicago for these particular shoes but found them only on Zappos. They were on my feet the day after I placed my order and I haven’t taken them off since! I wear them to work every day. I’m often on my feet at work and they are very comfortable. They did take a few painful days to break in but it was well worth the blisters on my pinky toes. I’ve received compliments from coworkers on how cute they are, too. They’re not an acquired taste like your traditional Dansko clog. They’re much cuter on your feet than even the picture suggests! I’ve recommended them to all my friends.

Finally a dress shoe I can wear –
Dansko shoes are to winter as Birkinstocks are to summer. I have to have arch supports or my feet hurt so badly that I can’t walk and these arch support is wonderful and they are sooo comfortable. I wore these to church right after I got them. I can finally have a dress shoe that doesn’t hurt my feet. One rubbed a little at the back, but was soon soft and pliable. I have narrow feet so they didn’t hurt across the toes as some had experienced. As was talked about in some review, they do throw you a little forward onto the ball of your foot, but what heels don’t, and when I had to stand, I just leaned back into the heel and it was soft enough to make it comfortable to stand in. Great shoes – I won’t hate having to wear a dress anymore because now I don’t have ugly shoes.

I have 3 other pairs of Dansko shoes, so I ordered the size I usually get. The Bridget’s were so big for my feet, I walked right out of them when I tried them on! My feet are on the wider side, too. I will be sending these back and ordering a size smaller.

Love this shoe!
After wearing professional Dansko styles for a few years and loving the comfort they offer, I decided to give their dressier styles a try. I have a wide foot, but don’t have to worry that these shoes will be wide enough. The toe space is so comfortable, doesn’t pinch, because of its boxier style. Great arch support and shock absorption. I do a lot of walking around at work in a professional environment, and this shoe was still comfortable when I made the long walk to the temporary stone parking lot at the end of the day!

Beautiful dark brown shoe!
I wanted Bridget to fit because I am looking for a high-quality dark brown comfort shoe that looks good with skirts. But Bridget didn’t work out (although it is a lovely, very dark brown shoe!). I had hopes that since I could remove the footbed and install my own orthotics, it would work out, but it simply wasn’t made for someone with a wide foot. Because I wear a US size 11 and had to order the 42 in Bronte (WHEN is Dansko going to wise up on their sizing?), I could not go up a size, which might have solved the problem. Thanks to Zappos for letting me try it out.

Normally 7 1/2 but the 7.5-8 size too loose. 6.5-7 perfect. Cute AND supportive. Good quality, well made. Keep it up, Dansko! There’s a big market of fit that have issues, need great support and want style.
