I just got these from Zappos a few days ago and I can’t stop wearing them. I’ve worn Dansko clogs for more years than I care to admit, but these are so much more comfortable and look better on (IMO, less “clog” like). Wish there more more colors!

I don’t knw what happened to Dankso shoes from Zappos. The last 3 pairs I bought had to be returned. Either the fit was too big (I’ve been buying this brand for over 20 years, so I know my size) or the pair I received seemed to have been returned before. It’s making me think about whether or not these are rejects sold to Zappos.

These fit slightly larger than I expected- I wear a 9 1/2 W shoe, and the 40 M was comfortably roomy on me. The leather is really nice and soft, as is the insole. I like the cork bottom, and there is just enough slope to the heel that its not uncomfortably flat. They felt like slippers right out of the box. I wore them without sox for several hours, no break-in required! The support from these fells great on my achy feet when I put them on after standing too long in my other shoes.

Yes these black smooth leather, lower in height clogs are so very much better. I have developed a severe dislike for suede. It looks horrible in no time. These look great and will be easy to clean. And height of the clog is lower. I have many pairs of the normal @ 2 inch height clog but am at the age I feel very unsafe and unstable in those shoes. The nice stiff sole of this shoe is a definite comfort to my arthritic feet. Would buy another pair if available in the smooth leather. No more suede for me, ever! Glad I purchased these. My other suede with the artificial fleece lining, ( not Dansko) look like and feel disgusting. Make more lower height clogs please; in smooth leather.

First pair of Dansko’s…. and I’m not a fan. These are just very hard soled… I was hoping they would be more comfortable to wear around the house but with some support and they just hurt my feet… The ball of my foot specifically.

These clogs are EVERYTHING! SO comfy the second you put them on. I wear them behind a bar for 5 hours at a time and they’re still comfy!

Dansko’s lower profile clog style is great. The one star is for Zappos because the shoes had obviously been worn and returned – pebbles and dirt on the soles and a worn foot bed. I even received the shoes in a generic shoe box rather than a Dansko box. Zappos quality control is slipping. This pair never should have been shipped and customer service was pretty nonchalant about the mistake.

The foot bed is much softer than my old Dansko XP. Size is similar. I really like the lower profile and the cork seems to be more forgiving.
My one wish is that Dansko had included some sort of heal securing feature. A heel cup like the traditional clogs or a strap that pivots from heal to over the instep so I can use it and move it out of the way. Dansko used to offer this kind of strap. Currently they offer a similar shoe but the strap is sewn into a fixed position and I don’t care for the fixed strap.
I hope they have some longevity. The soles squeak on the floor. I hope that goes away.

I’ve loved Dansko Sonja clogs so tried these. They don’t have the same feel at all – they flop around on my feet even in wool socks, and the arch support is nonexistent – perhaps because they flop around so much. Can’t size down as they would be too short. Might work for someone else but are a big fail for me..

I don’t agree with the other reviews that this clog runs large. I’m a size 7.5 to 8 in most shoes, but the Mariella in a size 7.5-8 left my heel hanging off the back. I like them so I’m going to replace with it with the next size up.

I ordered the Mariella and the Baylor. I thought the Mariella would have a lower heel and platform but it is roughly the same as the Baylor. Plus the Baylor was very easy to walk in and stayed on my foot without effort, whereas when I walked in the Mariella it felt like my foot would slide out easily without effort. I have a high instep and high arch, so maybe the Baylor has more of an arch as well, either way, I preferred the Baylor.

Very comfortable, I wear these in the house as we have wooden floors. Love the support on the sole and arch support, plus having wide feet Dansko brand fit me well. Always a great quality shoe.
