These shoes are so comfortable. I usually wear flats but these are so great that I can wear them all day.

The fit and size on these Tessie sandals is very comfortable. They look great, a real retro style from the 50’s. I am especially happy to have found these in-every-way perfect sandals that have working buckles. All the brands and styles have cheapened the footwear with Velcro. In my experience with Velcro that closure material wears out way faster a buckle ever would. Also, Velcro does not allow for the same degree of adjustment; think belt buckles as a reference. Dansko, I hope they continue producing buckle footwear.

I thought the shoes were OK, perhaps a little more casual than what I wanted. But, I did not try on these shoes because they were obviously pre-worn with signs of dirty bottom soles and indentations on the ankle straps from the buckles being set to a particular size.

I wanted to love these because they are so pretty. However, even after tightening both straps as tight as they would go, they were still uncomfortable. The leather cut into my toes.
