Connor G –
These truly are an air conditioner of a sock. They are great for hiking and work. I expect nothing less than perfection from this company.
Doug B –
A gently embracing fit. A great boot sock for warmer weather. Excellent materials and construction.
I’ve been wearing DarnTough everyday for at least 12 years. Over that time I’ve purchased about a dozen pairs of various weights. I’ve only worn out 6 pairs! I’ve taken advantage of the warranty to replace them. I have a lifetime supply of comfortable, durable socks in my closet.
Michael H –
They feel so sturdy and luxurious but also lightweight. I wish I had stocked up on some of these sooner. Really just the ideal sock for hiking, no matter the temperature outside. In cold, wet conditions, my feet always feel dry and toasty. (I have some of the thicker socks for indoor lounging as well.)
Steven C –
This is my third replacement using the darn tough lifetime warranty. They are hands down the best socks I’ve ever owned and I refuse to ever wear anything else.
James E –
Been wearing this style a few years now. Seems to get about a year out of them before I need to return for warranty claim. Very comfortable socks
Dave C –
The best socks I have ever bought!
Stephen H –
The perfect gift!
Nicholas N –
Sock has nice material and feels nice to wear. Cant wait to use it on hikes!
Jeff –
Best socks ever! I use the Coolmax version on warmer days and the Merino version for cooler days. They both fit perfectly and Darn Tough socks wear amazingly well. I have some of their hiking socks that are at least 5 years old and are just now starting to show wear.
Wendy R –
These socks have the perfect amount of cushion in the design to wear all day in my work boots. They feel comfortable and keep my feet dry all day.
John –
TOO tight on the ankle . Try to flex your foot and there is just NOT enough material—-feels restrictive. Same sock in Smart Wool and in Wright Sock is not ankle dorsi flex restrictive . So sad as this sock would otherwise get a 10 in my book . How much more $ is it to just increase the qty of material 1/4″ where the ankle meets the foot or give it more elasticity ?
I tried L my regular size and XL and no difference .

Great socks. Fit great. Very comfortable.
Dale G –
Love them. I almost cant wait for colder weather so I can start wearing them.
Frank R –
Im happy to know that I have purchased work socks for the last time ever. I bought 7 pairs and they will be the last 7 pairs I ever have to buy. They are comfortable, feel tough, and fit great. Also they smell great after a long day at work as a union carpenter.

There’s a lot to like with these, and the other two pairs I purchased. Unfortunatly, I’m right on the edge of these or the size down from them, and they bunch up under my toes a bit. Still, I can always take my shoes off and pull them snug again.
William M –
Darn Tough socks are my favorite socks, by far. The fit is perfect and they never get holes in the toe. They provide just the right amount of cushion.
George B –
Very comfortable best wearing socks I’ve had
ELIZABETH B –
First time buyer and I love these socks. Fit and feel great.
Richard G –
Not only do these socks look great, they are amazingly comfortable. I was introduced to these socks by a friend. He told me how great they were. I tried them and they are hands down the best socks I have ever had. Most comfortable, most supportive, most breathable, most cool on warm days, and most warm on cold days. Hard to believe, but its true. Best socks, hands down, I have ever had. Thanks, Darn Tough.
Pat H –
I purchased a pair for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. I am sure they are enjoying them, I am not sure if instructions for washing them were sent along with the socks. If you could let me know about that and if the warranty information was with that as well.
Thank you, Pat Haertzen
Lee L –
nice fit!
Philip L –
great product/great company
Barry K –
I’ve never had a cozier pair of socks. Whether I’m hiking 10 miles in 20 degree temps or sitting at my office desk, my feet always feel great!
Bruce H –
I’ve always loved Darn Tough socks–the weight is excellent. Easy to wash.
These two pairs of Micro Crew (Men’s Size 10-12) seemed a bit tight across the top of the foot which surprised me as they have always fit fine before.
Henry T –
They seem to be very comfortable. My only concern is that within minutes of putting them on, they need to be constantly “pulled up”. For me (75 in & 190 lbs) the socks are one to one and a half inches too short.
