I wish it didn’t take me 29 years to discover the wonders of wool socks. I work in a restaurant and am on my feet all day. These are great for keeping me cool or warm depending on the climate and which part of the restaurant I’m in. Awesome.

Couldn’t be more pleased with this product. After wearing another very major brand for many years I purchased only one pair of this style of Darn Tough hiking sock. Extremely comfortable….feels good to touch and feels good on the feet. Very good quality is obvious just by looking at he socks. I’m positive they will wear well for many years, but would be well worth the money if they lasted only one year. I will be placing another order for at least one more pair.

This type of cash for a single pair of socks seems like a lot, but they are worth it.
Reasons they are worth it:
1) Wool (quality & percentage
2) Fit – good form and protection (no hot spots hiking an 18 miler)
3) Construction/build is excellent; these will last a long while.

I ordered the socks for my hubby; Darn Tough are the BEST out there! One of the few socks you can purchase in extra long sizes. Not only do they keep your feet warm, but dry, all day as well. My husband has been wearing Darn Tough socks for years and I ordered these in the lighter tan, to go with tan slacks. I machine wash the socks, but always hang them on a rack to dry. It’s worth the extra effort, given the price per pair, but if you take care of them they will last for years and years! Excellent investment for comfy feet!

I have been wearing merino wool socks for the past 20+ years., usually Smart Wool or LL Bean brands. These are thinner than either of those brands but the weave here is denser and feels great on my feet. I have been wearing them with a new pair of back packing hiking boots and have about 25 miles in them so far. Very impressed!

Socks were long enough, but did not have enough width or stretchiness for feet. Felt like my foot was being strangled. If I tried to wear hoping that they would stretch, I ended up with uncomfortable feet and a large crease mark where mu foot bends at the ankle.

Darn Tough socks are the only socks my husband and son will wear, whether hiking ( New England) or at the computer. All four seasons! Finally I tried them and now they are the only socks I wear – low cuts during warmer weather or at the gym. I wear the heaviest when I ski. Darn Tough socks are comfy, but I especially like the cushioned ones. My feet sweat easily so the wool is perfect year round.

Wash in warm water and let them air dry to keep their size and shape. Extra comfortable

I’m sold on darn tough socks. Feel great, wear great over time. The midweight is a good shoulder season heft; I go with the lightweight in summer. I try to be careful to dry on low to be sure the wool doesn’t shrink. Definitely best value in this price range.
