I’ve owned this brand boot in the past so I was surprised they are now a 1/2 size smaller. I wear a 13N women’s shoes and now it just got a lot harder to find a boot that fits 🙁

Even though the extra-wide width was good (EE), and I liked the style, they were still really uncomfortable. I ordered both the 8 and 8 1/2, both in WW, and my heel comes out of both in the back. The leather is stiff and feels cheap, and there is very little cushion in the sole. (I have had this experience with other David Tate shoes that I kept, and regretted it.) With my foot width, I can’t be that picky, but I am sadly sending these back.

Did not fit well all over, uncomfortable shoe.

They’re nice boots. I have problems with my feet and they didn’t provide enough support. Walking was painful.

I wanted to love these boots but they had very little arch support and they squished out around my mid-foot and looked sloppy. Adding an insert with some support helped but I couldn’t love them. The leather is soft and they were plenty roomy for a thick sock. I think if you don’t have falling arches these are otherwise very nice boots.

I’ve worn Clarks shoes for many years, and they always fit me well and are good quality.

I love these shoes. They were roomy enough for socks and my orthopedic insert. I can wear them all day in comfort. They look like a much more expensive boot. They even made the cut for my next cruise and I’m going carry on only, so shoe selection is fierce.
