ThIs is a gorgeous shoe. Very well made, and a true double wide. I could see wearing it in a lot of situations. The problem is mine—-the size 12 WW needed more length for me, and I walked right out of the 13WW. I really need a 12 1/2, and can’t find them.

When I see shoes that are in my size (13W) I purchase — sometime multiples. For this shoe I purchased 2 pair one in Platinum and the other pair in Red. I gave 4 starts on the comfort only because like many women one foot is large than the other. My left foot is a little larger so that the fit is not as good but these shoes look good and the fit on my left foot is manageable. The basket weave dsesign really gives this flat style. The round toe and shoe top give extra comfort. I can’t wait to pair the red ones with white pants and any other wardrobe item with the platinum pair. I have quite a few David Tate shoes and am so glad they come in my size and width. I’m looking forward to Zappos selling more stylish, low heel shoes in my size. I am a “SHOE-acholic!

My ruby slippers were just too narrow. My bunions were unhappy but my eyes were thrilled. They are a true bright red.

My ruby slippers are just as red as the picture. They were ordered in a 7 wide as usual and are just too long. A 1/2 smaller is needed. So many times RED is a paler shade or more burgundy. This is the crayon red of your dreams.

Heavy and the back heal hurt my heal. The shoe is heavy, I think its the rubber sole.

These are the first shoes I have found in narrow width that I actually like! I got the silver and it will go with most anything, casual to dress. They are not quite narrow enough, but I think I have exceptionally narrow feet! The insole lining could certainly be improved. I had to put thin insoles in otherwise you are practically walking on a very thin lining. They are not the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had, but I will only wear them when I will be doing a lot of sitting. Certainly not much walking. They are beautiful, though, and I love the silver color and am keeping them.
